Submission Deadlines Reminder

DWL Journal

Just a friendly reminder that the DWL Journal is always open for submissions. We have the above deadlines so that when we reach 40 total submissions, we can get to work on the next volume.

While we haven’t reached 40 submissions, we will be moving forward to publish volume 3. Recently Amazon merged the KDP and Createspace platforms into one. With this change, cost of printing paperback copies of Volumes 1 and 2 has increased. In order to cut costs, we will be publishing volume 3 as a compilation of 1, 2, and the pieces that were submitted for volume 3 over the past 2 years.

I have notified most of the individuals who submitted pieces. If you haven’t received an email, don’t worry, one is coming. There are a couple of pieces that still need to be reviewed by the committee.

Thank you for your time and patience as we work through the kinks to get this publication off the ground.

December 15th Deadline

The deadline for the next volume of the DWL Journal is fast approaching. Those who submitted to the last volume have been notified that due to a low submission rate, we are combining the entries to create volume 3.

In other news, our parent company – Dream Write Learn Services, LLC will be hosting the first annual Dream Write Literary Symposium on March 30th-31st. For ticket information visit:

Starting in 2018, we will be introducing themes to our journal. We will still have open submissions, but we will be including a section in the journal dedicated to the theme of the journal. A schedule of themes and guidelines will be posted in January.
